Interactive kinetic installation — SIKKA Art & Design Fair, Dubai — 2025
Dance of Horizons examines how human presence alters the experience of time. Housed within a minimal, hourglass-inspired structure, a rotating sun-and-moon mechanism responds to viewer proximity: when a viewer is present, the movement slows; when the viewer leaves, it accelerates. The sensors, motors, and control systems remain concealed — the work reads first as sculpture, then as interaction. Presence becomes an active force: the viewer does not simply observe the system; their body changes its rhythm.
