140 × 120 cm — Oil on canvas — In progress
Orbiting Flower gathers three presences inside a single radial field, where none holds a fixed position relative to the others. The figures aren’t separate portraits so much as states in continuous proximity, each one’s meaning shifting according to where the eye enters the composition and what it passes on the way there. Boundaries between the three never fully resolve; closeness and distance keep exchanging places within the same structure. The painting proposes identity as something that takes shape only in relation to what continually surrounds it, not as something a person holds alone. Part of the ongoing ROSE Series.
