ROSE IV — 135 × 106 cm — Oil on canvas — 2026
ROSE IV holds one constant presence at its center, around which several relational conditions accumulate instead of passing. What the painting compresses into a single field never coexisted in time — separate periods, separate bonds, folded into one simultaneous image. Hands recur throughout the composition in different registers: holding, receiving, remaining. Nothing in the structure resolves or disappears; each relation continues occupying the same perceptual space as the ones before it. The work treats identity not as a sequence of relationships but as their residue — what a person continues to carry, unevenly, long after each one has ended. Part of the ongoing ROSE Series.
